International Food Tasting

Our International Food Tasting Day has been a highlight of Culture Week for the last few years and this year did not disappoint!

The range, quantity and quality of food was unbelivable as the boys got to sample food from right across the globe including traditional dishes from Ireland, Poland, Spain, Bangladesh, UK, Germany, Pakistan, Malaysia, Lithuania, China, Spain, Italy, Romania, Africa and Burma!

Sixth Class won the draw so were first up to taste what was on offer.

Fifth Class headed straight for dessert!

Mrs Ncube’s African style chicken wings were a hit as usual!

Fourth class headed straight for the wings!

Num num!

Second Class with full plates!

This was Second Class’s first experience of our food tasting and they all enjoyed trying out new dishes.

Third class enjoying the grub!

Seán and his mom had some delicious German soup!

Miko, Gregorz and Oliver happy to be our Polish representatives!

It was a family affair as everyone was drafted in to help out!

There was even time for Vishnu to teach some of the boys how to play a traditional board game!

For the day that was in it, we couldn’t forget our Irish Tradition of Pancake Tuesday! Over 200 pancakes were cooked and devoured in The Mon today!
We couldn’t think of a better dessert to finish off an amazing day of food!

We would like to sincerely thank all of our parents, families and friends for the time and effort that was put into today. It was a great success. All of the boys thoroughly enjoy the experience and were already asking will we be doing it again next year!
