- Hugh O' Flaherty Exhibition
- 23-9-2013: Mathew Horgan, Mathew Ellaga, Senan o'Leary, Taylor Mangan, Jack o'Connell and Eoghan Crowley from the Monastery school, Killarney straighten their ties for the photo to launch the Monsignor Hugh O'Flaherty 6th memorial week which take place from Oct 27th-Novemeber 3rd. A statue to the Monsignor who was educated in the school and was known affectionately as The Scarlet Pimpernel who helped thousands of jews during world war 2 will be unveiled in the town. A week long programme of events of talks, illustrations, tours and the announcement of the Hugh O'Flaherty Humanitarian award will also take place.
