Grandparents’ Day 2018

As part of Catholic Schools’ Week, Second class celebrated Grandparents’ Day in school recently.

Fr Jim led the service as we celebrated the important role that our Grandparents play in our lives.

The boys read out poems that they wrote for their Grandparents.

Ryan and Seán read this poem by Miss Dickson’s class.

Conall and Hubert read this poem for Mrs O’ Grady’s class.

We enjoyed a cuppa and a chat afterwards! Some grandparents shared some stories of their own memories from school.
